    Biography

    Paola Ferrari is a queer Italian immigrant who grew up in a small town in Italy, with a steady diet of "Murder, She Wrote" and "Diagnosis: Murder" re-runs that she would watch with her grandmother, a WWII veteran and resistance fighter.

    Paola's passion for politics, history and case-of-the-week procedurals comes directly from her. After an accident ended her career as a professional dancer, Paola got her BA in Communication Studies from the University of Milan; worked as a photographer, interpreter, and video editor before heading to Vancouver Film School for screenwriting.

    Paola graduated top of her class and moved to LA in for her first internship, and has been working in the industry ever since Despite many ups and downs (including being deported back to Italy for a spell), she never gave up her dreams.
