- John Gary Fencik (born June 11, 1954) is an American former professional football player who was a safety in the National Football League (NFL) for 12 seasons with the Chicago Bears.
He played college football at Yale University and joined Chicago for the 1976 season after being selected by the Miami Dolphins in the tenth round of that year's draft.
